Galileo LUX
Peak Performance, Simplified
Galileo LUX represents a thoughtful new entry in the Galileo family—a cable series designed for for the discerning listener who wants ultimate performance with effortless installation. Positioned between Galileo Discovery and our flagship SRX XL series, Galileo LUX delivers an exceptional sonic signature that retains the rich musicality and natural body the Galileo family is renowned for, while achieving enhanced detail and resolution that still outperforms many of our competitors’ flagship offerings. While SRX XL is like an F1 race car, engineered for those who enjoy optimizing performance through careful setup and tuning, Galileo LUX embodies the Bugatti philosophy: pure luxury and power, ready to perform at the highest level straight out of the box.
Galileo LUX incorporates advanced technologies refined through decades of electromagnetic research. Each cable benefits from our most current UEF compound technology and precision-engineered conductor geometries that preserve musical authenticity while delivering the three-dimensional soundstaging, holographic imaging, and emotional engagement that define reference-level performance. To make installation straightforward while delivering exceptional results without the more involved setup that enthusiasts appreciate in our flagship series, we’ve eliminated groundable shields, simplified tuning options (available only on power cables), and have optimized cable flexibility compared to previous Galileo offerings. Galileo LUX is available in elegant black or white outer jackets to seamlessly integrate visually in your room while delivering uncompromising sonic performance.
The Galileo LUX lineup addresses every critical connection in your audio system. Power Cables are available with optional tuning modules for those who wish to fine-tune their presentation. Analog Interconnects deliver transparent signal transmission with natural musicality, while Speaker Cables provide effortless dynamics with rich tonal accuracy. Digital Interconnects preserve digital signal integrity and musical soul, and Phono Cables capture delicate cartridge signals with remarkable clarity.
The result is a cable lineup that disappears sonically and visually, allowing pure, unrestrained musical expression with immersive realism and natural timbre, leaving only the direct emotional connection between you and the music.
Each Galileo LUX cable is hand-crafted in our California factory and available for risk-free in-home audition from your participating Synergistic Research dealer or international distributor.

Galileo Cable Series Reviews
[They are] exceedingly realistic sounding, capable (with the best sources) of fooling you into thinking you are in the presence of actual musicians. Not only do they reproduce timbre with lifelike density; they also reproduce the dynamic/harmonic envelope (from starting transient through steady-state tone to decay) with lifelike duration, without adding, for instance, “zip” or ringing to hard transients, sibilance to frictatives of higher pitch or amplitude, or smearing to decays. This is the very essence of “completeness”—and the reason why you can not just readily visualize singers like Sinatra on Sinatra at the Sands through both wires; you can also tell the way he is using his mic (like that geisha fan he compared it to) to shape, punctuate, and convey the emotional power of his delivery.
[They] are superb imagers and soundstagers; [they] reproduce the dynamic range of recordings with high accuracy; [they] are astonishingly realistic sounding with great tapes, LPs, and streams; and both lower noises and colorations to unprecedented levels.
So…where does that leave you?
Well, to begin with you’ve got to be rich to afford either one of these extraordinary looms of wire. However, for what it is worth, SRX is a good deal less expensive than Da Vinci (e.g., an eight-foot pair of SRX speaker cable costs $29,995; a two-meter pair of Da Vinci speaker cable is a staggering $46,500). If a $16.5k difference means anything to you (and if it doesn’t, my congratulations), then I’d certainly opt for the SRX.

Once connected to my Powercell and burned in for just over a week, I sat down and listened to my standard digital file set list for an initial evaluation. I have been using this group of tracks for well over five years and without much change. Typically, I bounce through the first dozen or so just to get a feel for what to expect. This time, I was immediately locked into each track from beginning to end and without interruption for several hours of listening. I cannot remember this ever happening before.
Why? Well, I could talk about the deeper blacker noise floor, the expansion of the sound stage in all directions, the holographic pinpoint imaging, and the rich full bodied textures, but there was something so fundamentally different with the SRX in place that I could just not skip through the music as usual”
….The Synergistic Research SRX power cord has me rethinking my entire system configuration and performance. When only one SRX power cord was used with the Synergistic Research PowerCell 12 UEF SE power conditioner to drive my entire system there was a clear correctness of presentation that had not previously been realized. I can only imagine what might happen if I used the SRX for all my components! Caveat emptor. Never say never. If you audition the SRX, you may never go back.

Synergistic Research’s complex and difficult-to-manufacture SR25 Limited Edition power cord so stunningly demonstrates the relationship between high-quality power and high-quality sound that it may represent the apotheosis of power-cord design. When I said that the SR25 transformed virtually every aspect of my system’s sound, I wasn’t exaggerating. It was difficult to believe that these improvements were caused by a single power cord, or that my system already contained a high-end power conditioner and cords. Once again, Ted Denney has proven that the simplest circuit is not necessarily the best sounding. Twenty large — enough to buy a new Honda Civic — is a very great deal to pay for a power cord, and most can’t pay it at all. The audiophile masses will take solace in the technologies that I hope will eventually trickle down from the SR25.
Can a $20,000 power cord constitute a bargain? It
